Cars at Hardee's Cruise-In on Friday night

Joey's '67 Shelby GT-500. This car was stolen in 2001 from the SAAC show in Tulsa and recovered in 2002 in San Diego.

A Boss 429 and Joey's '67 Shelby GT-500. This was one of two Boss-9's at this Cruise-In!

Movie 4 (5.7MB)

We lined up the cars to prepare for our cruise for lunch. Too many cars to fit in one picture!

Movie 11 (4.0MB)

Bob Dooley's '66 Shelby GT-350 was leading the pack, followed by Bob "GT350clone" and Robbie's '67 GT-500. Notice the bright "Performance White" of Cloney's car compared to the "Wimbledon White" of the Real Shelbys!

FBD runs again (4.9MB)

Tony "TFOB" and Deb drove their '73 Mustang convertible (FBD for Fire Breathing Dragon) down from Michigan. This is the third trip for them in this car to the Corn Feeds! Tony had intermittent problem with the car stalling, which was finally cured by a roadside installation of a new fuel pump. Fortunely, when he and his chase team arrived at the BBQ for lunch, there was still some food left for us!

At our late arrival to the BBQ, all that was left was a cat litter box! Mmm Mmm Good!

I followed 66emberglow and jpony645 back to Des Moines in my 2003 Mustang rental. Midlife rode with me so that he could enjoy the air conditioning.
